These days, every time I hear the song 'Jesse's Girl' by Rick Springfield, I can't help but think of Preacher by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon.

Poor Cassidy. Not. I hated that bloodsucker.

Cassidy rocked. But Tulip was ugly and scary.
I still need to finish collecting all the graphic novels. But mommy, they're so expensive.

Tulip was awesome. Power to the Tulip. Cassidy and his swooning for her was non sequitor from the start. Of course, Herr Starr puts every other character in the book to shame *grin*

Heh, you know, this song is much funnier when it's late at night and it's been run through the Brunching Shuttlecocks Drug Slanger. I submit the altered version:
Jesse is a fentanyl
Marijuana I know, he's been a PCP fentanyl o' mine, wha'?
Bu' lately somethin's changed and it en't hard teh define
Jesse's got himself a cocaine, an' I wannae make cocaine mine!
An' she's watchin' heroin with those eyes
An' she's lovin' heroin with that body, aye jus' know it
And he's holdin' cocaine in his arms late late at night (th' lucky shite)
Marijuana know, I wish that I had Jesse's cocaine!
I wish that I had Jesse's cocaine!
Where cannae fin' a woman like that?
