Less than forty-eight hours after the petition was started: 9,141 signatures.

I've always liked to think of myself as a reasonable and mature human being, capable of dealing with the outside world in a calm and rational manner.

I was so wrong.

It was pushing 15,000 when I signed earlier this afternoon, and now it's almost at 16,000.

Well over the paltry 1460 signatures to the horrible, offensive tragedy that is the Final Fantasy VII Remake Petition. "Hey, Square! Let's take the defining plot point of FF7 and totally undo it! Can you hook us up wit dat? Kthxbye!"

And that's as it should be.
