Okay, before I go any further, I'd like to make the following very clear: I am currently high on powerful cold medications. Very high. Very powerful. Very cold. Very medicated. Uh. Where was I?

Blogclique No. 1: Death to the Pit of Voles: Ç ? Death To Voles! # È
Self-explanatory. To join, you must display occasional fits of contempt for the voles and their pit on your blog.
Blogclique No. 2: Proud to Be a Vole: Ç ? Vole Pride! # È
Also self-explanatory. To join, you must have a reasonably active account on the Pit of Voles. And a blog.
So, tell me, all you ficcers and bloggers, all you zombies in the streets. If I were to spend a couple of days putting these cliques together, would any of you out there be interested in joining one or the other or both? Or is this blog entry the last gasp of the blogmeme in question, leaving me no choice but to get on with my life?
Anyway, either leave a comment or email me or something if you think the idea sounds like your kind of thing. If there seems to be a reasonable amount of interest, heck, I'll do it.

actually, I don't even know what you mean by "Voles". I'm assumming it refers to bad fanfic writers...

Actually, your "pit of voles" comment really stuck with me because I had a Biology assignment in regards to the population density of voles. Yes, irrelevant, I know. it was the title of the lab that got to me: "Do voles like it in the rough?"
And me, being the dirty little smut whore that I was (and still am), read it out loud, to the class, incorrectly:
"Do Voles like it Rough?... HEY, no, wait a minute..."
*Tsk* ... Voles, procreation, smut, and all. I have no shame.

Moon, it's nice to know that there are some constants in life: the sun in the sky, death & taxes, your mad-on for www.fanfiction.net. Ya know, everytime you bring this up, I inexplicibly feel the need to defend the site. I'd start a half-serious "pro-Pit of Voles" rant, but I don't have the inclination.
I'd rather comment on your site's new look. It looks good, but it's just looks WRONG somehow! Kinda like when a friend moves out of his house, but instead of leaving town he/she is just moving down the block. So I go to visit and it messes with my head! The furniture is the same, the same neighborhood, but everything's messed up! The kitchen is where the dining room was, the dining room is where the living room was, I can't even FIND the bathroom! Say, where IS the bathroom?
Sorry. Pure stream of consciousness there. Won't happen again. :)

Heh heh heh. Okay, in all seriousness, I like ff.net. I have an account there, I try and participate, I'm considering paying for my account, and all that.
What I don't like -- and what earned it the name 'the pit of voles' -- is the voles themselves: the adolescent ninnies who took a site based around a wonderful idea and made it, well, the pit of voles.
To everything there is a season, turn turn turn.

And yeah, I know what you mean. I rearranged all the furniture while you were asleep, just to fuck with your head! The blog is white! The main site is blue! The bathroom is... uh... damn, I forgot to upload the bathroom.

I dont know why 'pit of voles' caught on, but Carlos started reffering to it as such thanks to your blog, and now all of us THEMmers who either read or post on ff.net do call it such IRL. So if you do start the blogcliques, I can assure you that I know at least 4 of us who'd join in :) Self included!
I'm afraid to post on the pit because I know my stuff is bad and lord knows ff.net doesnt need any more bad fic stinking the place up!

Does it look like an Ewok or what?
PitOfEwoks doesn't have the same ring. (Though I suppose Ewoks are pointless an annoying...)
