Blah. I am slumping.
The computer beckons me;
Come, Mooncalf, and write.
Alas, I cannot.
The muse, it sleeps within me;
Everything seems trite.
I know I should blog.
I set my fingers to keys;
Nothing emerges.
My voice is silenced.
And yet I... I must create.
I damn these urges.
Therefore... I haiku.
If I should rhyme, what of it?
It is my habit.

Badass points for using the word 'dagnabbit' in haiku.

Once again, the true brilliance that is Mooncalf is displayed! Or maybe it's just me. *looks about nervously*

Who's telling you those aren't "true haiku"?

Amen; preach it, Sister Mooncalf-sensei. I know exactly how you feel. How often does this happen to me or has happened when I want to write something? I just wish I could write a poem about it too!!
LOL

Moo, I love you.
By the way, the captain of the football team on Smallville reminds me Way The Hell Too Much of Romeo in Go Wyverns. (As if slashiness between Clark Kent and Lex Luthor weren't scary enough... ^_-)

Don't worry about not writing anything; people will drool all over it no matter what it is. >;) Just be yourself - that's what blogs are for. :)

From the "long time listenter, first time caller" department, I just want to say LOL (this coming from a guy who hates haiku!) However, since Thea brought up "Smallville", am I the only one who thinks that Lex Luthor kid looks like he's trying TOO hard to be a frontman for the local rock band? Maybe he has a Moby complex, I dunno. :)

'Dagnabbit' is quite possibly the funniest word in the English language. Grizzled circa-1890's prospectors are thereby hysterically funny.
