Bah, bigotry is a profoundly annoying thing. And hearing that there are people getting blacklisted for something like this bothers me rather a bit... Incidentially, Mooncalf, are you still going to claim that I'm evil?

Most men don't like pretty boys or yaoi, what else is new? Don't hang out in a chat room with testosterone squirting out it if you don't want guys making snide comments about your nerdy girly girl artwork. ^^;

I know, I know. The situation in that chatroom's a little hard to explain; there was a point where girls were able to plug art and get normal crits and praise without having to worry about the content until certain people took it over (I won't say names, but they either draw or use to draw for That Weekly....take your pick). And it's not even a matter of wanting the art accepted, it's a matter of an apology. I would forgive and forget if I could get an apology, since God's knows how many times I've had to say I'm sorry in there. And I also don't like the idea of becoming an online hermit just to avoid certain people ^^.

Well, chat rooms are my least favorite form of online communication, so I guess I'm really not one to understand your motivation for hanging out with those d00ds. :B

Crikey. I've never said this, but I'm actually *glad* now that I can't draw beyond stick figures. >_< I couldn't take that kind of crap that you apparently go through. And even though I can't understand the complex artist mindset 'cause I'm just a lowly word-scribbler etc. etc., I think that those are a lot of great points. We see some of the same bigotries elsewhere in fandom, too.
*shakes head* if I could draw, I would join the crusade. ^_^
